I'm having a "discussion" with someone on cooling . Specifically, drilling holes in metal to increase surface area. He says leaving the the material intact will cool better because the piece will have more mass and greater thermal capacity. I say properly sized holes(not to excede the thickness of the material) will increase surface area thus increacing cooling capacity. Who is right? Thanks for the info.
