I have a 1956 NSU that's 6 volt. I am thinking about changing it over to 12v but I don't even know if it's possibly or what's involved. I could change a car over in 5 minutes but a bike I have no clue what so ever. Any info would be great.
why bother just get a higher watt headlight ,you can run a 6 volt coil off a vw or a small 6er off a britt bike and on mine i run a little gell cell that is for some commercial use found it from my batt supplier but if you search six volt gell cell you'll fine one no sweat and they're like 12 bucks and youi can get higher output than original so it's plenty good to ride i had a 51 max that i did this to
