Hello,

I have a very good Model 7. One kick start and great idling but the clutch is
really in a very bad shape.
When I shift from Neutral to 1st gear I hear a metal crushing metal sound (There
I lose my interest to take it for a ride).
However if it keep get it moving then the gear engagement becomes comparatively
easier.
I have clicked some pics and my friend here told me that the clutch bell is not
exactly that of a Dominators.
I am not sure how to attach the pics here.
Please help me with this

Best Regards
Pratap

You might ck if you have the correct handelbar lever pivot.. The orig early Norton one gives slightly more throw than a common AMAL one does. This was a hard to solve poblem on my 51 88 Dominator.
