I'm tryin to fit a Hunt mag into a '50 pan with shovel jugs and STD heads. I need to remove the relay boss plus a bit right at the generator hump. How do you guys usually do this? I tryed installing it like the flatside shovel with it pointing right in stead of straght out, but The pushrod clears buy about .050" so I know the cover sure as shit wont fit. Any ideas? Thanks.

I made a 1/4" thick spacer from stainless steel which I put under the mag to mount it higher. This doesn't have any affect to the gears, interlocking and stuff as the gear on the mag is "long" enough. Also modified the case to make the mag fit.Should be no problem.

I didnt have to remove the relay boss to fit it on my 50 pan. I redrillled the brass plate and turned the mag body so it faced out to the right (thanks trent!).
Youre welcome!
