Does anyone know the axle diameter for a BSA wheel - [SIZE=+0]8" conical front drum (Gold Star, A10, 67-70 Victor, etc.)? I want to use this on my Harley 45 flatty, WR-wannabe. The bearings on my hub are too crusty to get an accurate measurement.

As you're probably aware, this is a stepped axle. In stock configuration, the axle threads into the RH fork slider, and has a LH thread.

The axle OD where bearings locate is .875". The other part of axle that is sleeved inside the brake drum measures .685".

BSA part number for bearings is 37-1041.
