anyone have any plans on how to build those pipe lifts that slide under the frame and then you pull the handle over center to lift the bike? i sure I could probably figure one out but just curious if anyone could share the info before I try...thanks

Dan
I know a guy that took pieces of landscape timbers (rounded 3"x4") cut them to about 18" to 24" long, nailed & bolted them together, 1" pipe threaded flange bolted to the top of the combo, then used a 4 ft long threaded pipe as the lever. Worked good on most of his bikes, if he needed to raise it up higher (dirt bikes) he would use 2x4's under it as cribbing. I used it for my sporty years ago.
The threaded pipe worked good incase you bent the pipe, just got a new one. You can even staple carpet to it if you want to save the paint on the frame.
at the end of the handle (where you would grab on to) was it bent so that when the bike was up the handle wasnt trapped against the floor (finger pincher??)

yeah, exactly like that! I may have to go narrower than 4" though, have to check ground clearance under my frame, thanks for the help!

Yep exactly - I forgot that part of the story.
