I have a pair of Big twin springer forks and I want to fit a disc brake caliper to them ( London traffic being what it is you need a really good front brake ) has any one done this conversion and give me a bit of advice? Cheers.

Hi Matt.
Did that a while ago on my old springer. The only working way is to set it up like it´s done on the new model forks.

Here´s a picture how it looked...not the best detailed view but the only pic I have...

Hey Matt, I used to fabricate a caliper bracket & spacers myself a few times, but try Steve Schneiderbanger in Germany, he has a complete kit to go directly onto an old springer, linkage and hardware included...(you will need a 10-12mm bore master cylinder though) tell him I sended you..

The 2 caliper kits look good and also blackjacks tech drawing is very clear and spot on so I reckon I'm gonna have a go at building it and then if I fuck up I will just have to go the other route.
