ed (aka burger) came by last night & worked his ass off helping me wire my bike up. we worked on it steadily from the time we got off work til 1 am; then both got up at 6am to come to work. he schooled me on the correct way to wire stuff so all my connections are crimped, soldered & shrink wrapped. he also brought over a bunch of wiring diagrams so we figured everything out pretty easily. i dont think either one of us were more stoked to see a head & tail light come on then we were last night. 1st try, the headlight, tail light, brake light & highbeam worked perfectly (thank god because we didnt have an ounce of energy left to work any longer).

all thats left on the bike is to get the tins back from paint (which look sick as hell because i got a sneak peek earlier this week) and im waiting on a couple of little rear brake parts & ill probably be firing her up for the 1st time next weekend. im so stoked but pretty nervous about it at the same time. 3.5 months, a little more than $5k & about a million fucking hours working on it from the time i get out of work until i pass out, everyday or every other day.

again, super big thanks to ed for working his ass off last night until 1 am helping me with the wiring. i wouldve been beating my head against the garage floor without his help. also, thanks to ed's very understanding wife & 2 little girls for letting me borrow him for so long. ;)

yeah dude, i actually had some scary dreams that you & i were wiring a giant building. i woke up totally tired of electrical stuff after doing the bike til late & then working on that goddamned building all night in my sleep!

im all about a regular shop night. im down there almost every night anyhow. im all for helping drew get his ride together but he's got a lack of funds right now so somehow we have to figure out how to fix stuff for free, for now at least.

Damn...
I wish you guys lived near me!
My bike needs a ground-up rewire job as well.
I would persuade you with fine ales, tasty smoke, and beautiful womyns!
Although the women wouldn't stick around for long since the dudes would be busy with man stuff...like wiring.
