I like that bike too, it's a very traditional looking bobber and you have to respect the style. If I was presented w/ a restored 45 or an unrestored one w/ everything there, that's the bike I'd build.
That said, the Japanese are using old parts in new ways and that's pretty progressive. They're taking a box of shit parts and building bikes for the sake of fun and riding. That's pretty neat.

I'm with oldspeed on this one. But having said that I also have to say that I've seen some awfully nice bikes coming out of Japan lately. Zero is my hero. BUT, I've also seen some of the ugliest, stupidish shit ever too. I too went thru the shock value stage back in the 70s and it was a blast but now I wouldn't ride that shit on a bet. But to each his own and even though I wouldn't be seen dead on alot of bikes I see nowadays I'll fight for your right to ride it if that's what trips yer triggerTony Bones said:
