Picked this 1961 XLCH up from original owner last week. Put in a basement in 1970 and not removed until I pushed it out last week.

7332 miles , original dealer's invoice and some spares thrown in.

The search is on for an alloy front rim or complete front wheel.

That's one hell of a find! Better a basement than a barn!
Sweet find. Sweet bike !!
That is one sweet bike. Hope you keep it halfway stock. I don't care where they come from, as long as they keep coming, and coming.
damn man that is a nice find
what are you gonna do with the spare magento ?
and what type of cam is that in the pic ?
damn the lucky dogs! I bet you traded a rusty folger can for it too
Sweet bike that looks like a ol Bates seat like I had on my 59 Triumph...
Man, you got all the good shit on that one too. The siamese duals, the speedo, the speedster bars, the nice chain guard, etc. Beautiful machine.

I'm biased but I don't believe there's a nicer looking machine.
Holy crap, thats a nice find
nice fuckin' scoot and great score! Hey, looks like that one came from the county I live in, guess they're still out there!

hope to see ya around if your in the KC region!

awsome find! man put a solo seat and let her rip!! that there extra mag sure would look good in my flatty!
It's too nice to restore ( they're only original once). The seat is the rarest Sportster seat ,the Dual seat . they all split at the seams that run up the side. Solo seat is in the works. The mag is going into the parts pile for my Ironhead double. I will convert the Funnybike to a double hopefully if the right parts are found at the right price.

your blue sporty and hummer are fine looking!
It's a girls bike.....get rid of it. I can come and pick it up and save you some embarassment at the local bagger nite. (man...I'm drooling )
