tom @ the model a ford works 503-284-1928. this guy does rebabitting for model a ford rods and blocks. this guy knows what hes talking about. i paid 350 for the job, but $150 of that was for one time triumph rod tooling. so he should be able to do them for about $200. i forgot to say, my rods are the early small(er) crank end, babitt rods.

Wayne Calvert at Calvert Precision Engines in Denton balanced one that set some records at Bonneville a few years ago. I think it was a pretty pricey job. He told me that he would rather balance 4 Chevys than one Triumph 650, but he can do it.
