I've got a 91 FXR that has a similar problem.
When its not moving, no oil leak. After a ride, the whole left side of the scoot is covered in oil. Changed gaskets and seals to no avail.
At this point i think my inner primary is twisted or warped.
Next big purchase for me is a fucking belt drive. No oil, no oil leaks!
