Austin Shops...???

1595 Views 10 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  Galaxie500XL
I need to find a austin shop that has the know how to finish up the last few things on my rigid. I am way too busy trying to sort out some legal bullshit that I am going through with an Ex, and open my tattoo parlor/Bar...yeah its a weird idea...but whatever.

None the less need a shop that can get her running with a few kicks and stopping without me freaking pumping the pedal till the cows come home.

I am willing to trade out alot fo tattoo work for bike work. Since things arte real tight on the pocket right now. Legal fees, and lawyers should all burn in hell. Well after they get me out of this then so be it.

Thanks for any info.

What kind of bike do you have, and what's the problem?
1956 pan lower/shovel upper. MAg/generator...4spd kick only , rigid frame ...and so on.

Well I need to get it to kick over easier...I kicked on it for two hours, and she started once. The brakes suck...now the wiring has to be all redone thanks to some wire cutting cunt!

I have no tools (thanks to my ex selling them while I was ....ummm detained) I got done real dirty by my ex, and a few of her friends. So I am trying to get things straightened out and get my world back in order. The bike is the only form of transport I have and its been attacked by a woman scourned...

Many years ago I went to a shop that was in a real bad part of town just up the road from a place that sold nothing but pinatas, it was chock full of ancient and rare parts, I can't remember the name of the place. It was one of the best bike shops I've ever been to.

That was Bud's. Still is.
Really, it's still there....awesome. Most times good places just disappear and shit joints proliferate, think HD and Wal Mart.
Its the only one of the old Austin shops left.
