Tore my bike down today to get the frame to bare metal and ready for mock up.
I was happy to see the frame was in great shape under all the paint with no crack's or previous damage anywhere..
I have one bar on the hard tail that is a little tweeked..i need to adress that first..

Then i'm going to put the motor back in and start getting thing's rolling on mock up....

Sorry for the shitty pic, it's from my cell phone cam....

Current plans..
Basically complete build.

The lower end of the motor's in good shape, but i'm going to re build it any way. If it's this far apart i can't see not going that extra step and freshening that up too. Probably run around 11.1 slugs and do some research on the cams to get the 'right' ones.
The motor's a TR6R, but i'm going to run a Bonneville head..I like the twin carbs, and the bike itself is a 68 Bonne anyway so i kinda want to keep that look.
Bass's bare metal bike is very close to what i like, if not perfect to me..
A good representation of what this is gonna be would be his..
It'll be different, but the overall line's are going to be close.
My uncle has a 650 bonne that i've lusted after for years, and ever since i can remember i said IF i ever built a trump, thats what it's gonna look like..

Bass's and his are close.

I'll update from time to time when i actually make some progress.
