Just about had enough bruising that I'm now considering adding an electric start to my 67TR6C.

As far as I know (not alot) I have 6 volt coils, yes that's about it.

What would I need? Upgraded 12 volt coils, battery, key switch? Pazon, Boyer, WTF...

Shopping list & rough amount for parts would be greatly appreciated.

I just want to ride the damn thing & not polish it....

Forget the electric start conversion. Just update your lucas electrics to more modern parts. Triumph twins are "one kick" bikes.

based on you comments I can only assume you don't have a lot of experience with Triumphs,
In my opinion you would do well to have your bike serviced by a professional Triumph mechanic, even with Lucas electrics if they are properly tuned Triumphs are very easy to start.

Yep all the Triumphs I have had (7) have all started 1-2 kicks cold and 1 hot. Very easy to start compared to my mag. equiped 68 Sportster
