57 Tiger Tranny....ummmmm

ok,I've had this tranny for like 20 years,(lost for about 10 then found,lol)
anyways it's from my first bike 57 tiger,that I got and the motor was all redone
as was ther tranny.SOOOOO after so much sitting should I open it up and go over it?? or just clean it out fill it back up and use it?

How does it feel when you rotate the shaft and try the gears? If I doubt something it comes apart before I put it on the road. That way if it breaks I know it was my fault for not looking.

Rebuild it. It's not that hard and it's worth it for peace of mind in my opinion. It wouldn't hurt to at least pop the outside cover off and check things out, but it's not too big of a deal to refresh it. Little tedius, but nothing you can't handle with a few manuals and some patients at your side. I noticed a big difference when I did mine.
