Bought new in San Diego in '47 this Triumph 500 was sold to its second owner in '70 . It got stashed way in the back in that dudes garage for 3 decades and just recently was liberated to Roar and Ride again!

Thats a nice piece of history there! It's like a time capsule. If I were you i'd hang on to that one for a while.

Put me in line if it ever comes up for sale. :D

Very cool. You also just reminded me that I have a crankshaft that is supposedly for a '47 Triumph, based on the casting number.
