I'm trying to determine whether fork tubes have been extended by measuring the length of the tube sticking out of the bottom leg. I measure 14 5/16" approx. That is unloaded and lying on the bench. It's obvious that the tubes have been replaced by the chrome, I bought off Ebay with little description. Anybody have a known set free?

It's a left hand brake style, and I know how long the tubes should be, just trying to figure if any extension by amount of tube sticking out. And I realize it could vary by spring rate or fatigue. They look like stock or close to, but it's been many years since I have been involved with glide stuff.
