I have a nice 19" 36 spoke front rim with 'mini' brake that i'd like to use on my trump.
The rear is obviously a 40 spoke, spool hub style rim..

Anybody run a 36 in front and 40 out back?
I'm thinking it's not gonna make that much difference, above the lack of 4 spokes up front.....BUT if i'm wrong fill me in..

only reason i'm thinking of using it is because i have it..

thanks

if you just talking about running wheel with a different number of spokes, thats no big deal at all. on a bike i recently built, i used a 40 spoke rear and a 60 spoke front. but if you are talking about lacing a 36 spoke rim to a 40 spoke hub...you're out of luck...

Naa, i know ya can't lace a 36 rim to a 40 hub.
I have a pretty nice 36 spoke complete rim and hub i was gonna use..

Thanks for the input..thats what i'm looking for.

The rim's narrow, it's about 1.5" wide...and i'm gonna be needin' a hoop for it.
I'd like to run a speedmaster..or similar..
Now i gotta start searchin for the right size for it.
So far i found a 19x 3.25 speedmaster, but thats not gonna cut it..i need something thinner...

same thing on this one. can't tell the difference unless you counted them.
Damn! OIF beside's..thats a bad ass scoot right there..

I really appreciate the pic. Even though it's only a difference of 4 spoke's, i was unsure if it was going to look right..
Your right, in the pic you can't tell..

Thanks.
