2 into 1 will give better drivability at low speeds,
better drivability,and easier to tune.

Same thing with 3 into 1,4 into 1,4 into 2 into 1.

Individual pipes will sound louder,the same way dual exhaust on a car
will sound louder,even with the same reading on a Db meter.

Individual pipes will preform better on the street using smaller diameters,
longer lengths,with some sort of baffles,compared to some cool looking
short fat straight pipes.

But some will sacrifice performance just for looks.
