Default My Shovelhead.....Before and After...

So here is my other lady in the stable. Sadly I lost alot of my before pictures (stupid computer crashed!). I have alot of pictures after the hardtail job. Ive still got alot of work to do on it but she is almost done. Ive got to get the fittings for the oil tank and run the lines. Also have to get oil and mount the rear tail light. Oh and I need a new chain too. Im sure there are a few more things too but thats what I can think of right now. But for the most part she is almost there. Let me know what you guys think. I know the rear tire isnt most peoples thing around here, but I like the wider rear tire.....plus I dont think its too large. Thanks

John

You know and I know, that they don't run, unless they leak. So you just fixed it so it would not run. Don't ya just hate it??

Nice bike, goat.

Looks great! I like the tanks. I thought if it didn't leave marks on the pavement it was all out?

Ok so after moving half way across the country. Ive finally started to wrap up the details of my build. Still got alot of little things left to do on it. But Im back to working on it. Its funny how life likes to slow ya down on your projects. So I got the pipes on, a new kicker pedal the remote oil filter mount powder coated and test fited. I also had to rewire it. It had a nice rats nest to clean up. Now Ive got to get the oil tank installed and oil lines routed. I could use a heads up on what lines go where with the open belt set up.

Thanks Little D i will take a look on their website. I still like to see a picture or two of someone else bike with an open 1.5 in belt drive so I can see the oil line routing with remote oil filter. Im a visual person. Thanks for any help.

just make sure you don't plug off the breather hose like I did 33 years ago, it will realy leak oil then. Put a filter on the end of the breather hose and plug the primary oiler at the pump. A good way to know where the hoses are routed is find somebody with a like oil pump and make notes. I would post a pic if I had one with me. Good luck and nice bike
