Default I dunno much about Art.

Is this art? Well I think it is, so there.

1. L to R. Original roller bearing cup. Trendy shop bought tapered rollier bearing cup. New awesome bearing cup to thats a combination of both.

2. New 1 inch steering stem to replace the old one that was flogged out by years of use and abuse.

3. Gearbox mounting stud to fit '64 3 speeder into a VL frame. Hubba Hubba.

Couple pics I took with my Holga/Polaroid:
1. More of my distressed/imperfect lettering on a tank we did.
2. Shot of my buddy's '52 at a recent bike/rod show at the local strip club parking lot.

Here's my first Friday Art contribution ever. I'll be honest, total time invested on my part wasn't much, but my wife spent about the last 9 months adding all the finishing touches. And it's TOTALLY motorcycle related because his first movie ever was "On Any Sunday" and we watched it twice in a row together on his first day home! I've titled this work of art "Cole" and it is numbered #1 of 1.

Thats a really nice paint job, not for me but man I can appreciate what went into it.
I knew a man that would only wear a gray cowboy hat and woudnt wear any other shoe but a cowbay boot - My Great Grandpa would of liked that bike, a real mechanic, built and raced model A's and T's, a true Southerner, not a racist but a Southerner and proud of it, his Dad fought and survived the civil war.

Having been an artist at one moment in my life, all I can say is that I consider you to be great - good stuff man, across the board different subjects but all done with great perspective.

Yeah he is a Norton guy and always mocked Triumph guys! I seem to recall a few leaks of his too! My fathers name is Rick Swain.
Here are some more, all of them are of bikes he owned or friends bikes:

" John Barger after a ride on the Benelli!"

" Randy adjusts the clutch of AJS single."

" Ed Campbell push starting John's Norton racer."

" Matchless G15CSR."

" Vince (youngest member of the vintage club- note the teddy bear) and his 441 BSA."

" Chris Troop on his vintage Honda racer."

" 75 Harley XLCH."

"Randy adjusts the clutch of his Matchless single."

" Honda 305 SuperHawk."

Enjoy,
Matt

Ryzart those "never again" designs are badass!

Coincidentally enough that's exactly what I was thinking as I was doing this liner. What do you do with a rattlesnake after you run it over? Stuff it into your helmet of course!:

And here are a few shots of Nate's helmet with the crazy paint by BlueMoonKustoms:

Honestly, I never expected this kind of response. Thanks you guys so much. That was finished to me, as I had no idea what to do with the tank paint yet. I may make more of it though.

Just a set of bars I did for my Build Off bike over on The Underground. 1.25" bars with 0.875" end pieces . Cross piece to take an Acewell 2753 dash . Now I have to make a set for a mates Dyna and another for a blokes Bonnie Speedmaster . Might even knock up a set of me Bonnie America if the Speedie set are comfy .

A member here, Richiepan, does some very incredible bike/hotrod tattoos. Search through the art threads for his work.

He also has a website, here: http://darkstartattoos.com/
Click on the Art Work tab, I think you'll be quite happy?

My left arm by Roger at Star City Tattoos. http://www.starcitytattoosandbodypiercing.com/

Got the whole "gearhead" thing in there. Plus a spark plug in a lightbulb. Can't go wrong with a spark plug, especially in a lightbulb.

I believe it was more like a private communication took place, politely asking you to put tat pix on the Friday art Thread.

The fact is, one of the 'mods' here is a commercial tattooist. Another fact is, Ryan has told us he does not care for threads about tattoos, so we have moved posts to the Art threads rather than deleting them (which would bring on even more whining and gnashing of teeth).
