Default Sissy Bar Fabrication.

always gives me the shits, i used to just chalk it out on the concrete floor and get someone to stand on it while i heat and bend.
Came up with this to make life easier.
Just some 1/4 plate with holes drilled in it so i can use threaded bungs to bend around, works a treat, not a new idea i would imagine.
Vb stubbie optional.

Nice jig !!! In a pinch even a smaller one that does one side at a time works, but having a large enough sheet to keep it 100% symmetrical has got to be nicer...

Just because you're unbalanced...

All joking aside, I've done my sissy bars (all three) using a mapp torch and 1/2" round stock wedged into my bench vise. Eyeballs and tape measures, steady hands and good sense for 'level'.

Cool set-up for mass production, though. I'd get all mental setting up a jig.
