Anyone seriously interested will have found out about the questionable business practices, but new Norton has nothing technically to do with old Norton and is as irrelevant to JJ as the latest Yamaha R1.

The new "Norton" is just an old name on an unrelated venture involving defrauded pensioners (pension investment should be governmentally discouraged from insanely high risk vanity projects like niche motorbike companies building garage jewelry for nearly dead old men), questionable promotion, and media coverups/selective ignorance because famous bike names make rational men into contemptibly stupid children.

It's all over UK news so best to go there. It's somewhat covered in Norton groups but their focus is as always on the bikes and not on why the company tanked.

When a site goes from hundreds of regular contributors and thousands of regular readers to the same ten people posting a few times per week it may be time to relax the rules or broaden the scope.

But let's face it, I can't start a new build every week so that guys'll reply and this site'll lit...

I have a new build in the pipeline, it will be unusual, usual with me builds, but it's not ready to start... You'll have to wait...

I was once one of the thousands, and occasionally one of the hundreds. I couldn't have said it better than Jason. I check back from time to time to make sure I'm not missing anything interesting. With the small amount of activity, I don't have to check all too often. I don't know what happened. There seemed to be a mass purging of contributors at one time. I miss what this forum used to be. I learned a lot here.

Social media certainly has not helped forums in general. I would not say that the JJ is dying, but no one knows what forums will be like in 5 years from now, 10 years from now, etc.

In my opinion, this forum is still a wealth of information, and still has regular contributors. Sure it's slowed down, but haven't all other forums as well?
