OK guys. If you like the awesome Japanese thread as much as I do, you might like this one as well. One of my favorite Japanese blogs started a new custom generator Shovel build that looks to be a monster in the making. I'll copy and paste each installment as I follow along on his blog.

This first shot is of his earlier bike that you might remember from the Japanese Scene thread.

Now I'll start from where he starts on his blog and you can follow along if you're interested.

I'll post in-progress pics with minimal chatter so you can just follow along as I weed through his picture filled blog. It gets better and better as it progresses. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. He's not finished with it by a long shot but the progress so far is very impressive. Enjoy!

Have a look at the spindle mount dragster style wheel being cut on the CNC. Incredible workmanship!

Follow along if you like, there's some really terrific stuff on this blog and way more pics than I could ever possibly post here.

holy world. At first I was thinking "oh cool hes making a bash plate to protect his cases", the "wait he's cutting the rest off", then "oh wow man".

People's ability to force metal to their will never ceases to amaze me.
- What I can't find the single loop frame I want, that's ok, i'll just hack up this swingarm frame into little pieces and make one.
