Sir,

who painted your tank!? that's absolutely incredible.

Beautiful bike too, too clean for me I'd be scared to take it outside of a controlled climate.

No FB.... But I saw it. No drama, absolutley boring. That wont do it here. You dont get to have a super awsome bike like yours and have the first startup go that good. I mean, what kind of message is that fir kids?!

Their was plenty of drama before the start up. The electrical was my main concern all that wire and tubing running threw the scaled up interior of the frame tubes. So a short or a break in the tubing for the airbags was a very real possibility. As far as the engine, the carb was the only unknown. I got it from a buddy who took it of his bike more than 15 years ago with a century on the clock.
Once the weather breaks around here I'll get the first 50 miles out of the way because I'm going to have to pull the motor to correct a couple of pesky oil leaks. I think I found the perfect material to seal the rocker covers, yamabond. I've already tried it out on the front cover.
After that just working out the bugs. Cheers.

Wow I just found this thread and I'm glad, cause every time I tried to get a look at your bike, at both shows, I couldn't get near it!
Congratulations on a stellar build!! And "Best of" at the Creme! And Michael Lichter shoot!
Like everyone says, the detail is amazing and I only wish I could've gotten a closer look when I had the chance...D'oh
You aught to enter your scoot in the "Love Thy Chopper" show coming up in June. That way I can try to get another look at her... haha
Fix them leaks and hit the road!

It was a long journey and worth every mile. Was invited to park the bike in the invited section on the grass and the attention the bike got was awesome, but nothing compared to showing the bike to the family that I dedicated the build to.

Had to read that twice, thought you said great looking 'forks'. (Also true.)
