No shit, I'm enjoying this thread. It's a real treat for a old jaded s.o.b. This is a bit like going back in time . . . no fancy frame jig . . . no high-dollar tubing bender . . . no digital angle finders or lasers. This is "chopper building" as it was back at it's roots. Desire and imagination, a willingness to develop the skills and do the work, and basic tools. Working with what you have and modifying stock parts until they look like the vision in your head. Plus, I've got a soft spot in my heart for shovelhead motors, they're old enough to keep me happy

This may be the front end that'll be used. I can't speak Japanese but it seems to be the plan. 18" front rim and super narrow trees.

'hewn from rock, forged in steel' , i've not even looked at the blog but this is inspiring stuff. And is that a MIG the blokes using when we should all be aspiring to TIG, doesn't seem to matter when you have a vision.
