love the tank & the petcock coming out between the split rocker box...

Thanks. It's all kind of balanced together at the moment but the general ideas are taking shape. I have a Linkert M series carb fitted now and will run a looped copper line to the petcock.
The tank kept getting smaller and smaller as I was shaping it. So much so that I've now partitioned the oil bag so that it holds gas on one side and tops up the little gas tank via a fuel pump. If nothing else it looks kinda cool with twin fillers and should allow me to get from one gas station to the next.

any idea on the gas tank capacity?
i narrowed mine to where it's now a 1.5 gallon tank (from topped off to dry). gets me 60 miles most of the time, with a CV carb. ran a Tillotson, Linkert M, couple different Mikunis, S&S, SU... the Tillotson got by far the worst mileage, CV the best, Linkert somewhere in between.

read that whole thread... seems like it'd make for a great adventure bike. i'd rather ride that than the BMWs that are so popular (and that's not a "HD is better than BMW" thing... i've ridden a few, just don't care for them)

Denver's Exorcist's Delight - just about the coolest Sporty chop ever...

Don't see Sporty rocker boxes like this every day...

What a killer bike! The lines of this chop just slay me...

This one looks like fast, skinny, lane-splitting fun...
