beatcad, not to steal a thread but the 70's caddies are the caddies of "caddies!" I am originally from Harrisburg, PA. My dead Dad and uncles Francy, Pauly and Billy Diamond drove drove those cars. Nough said. Again Stoph, cool ass bike. You gonna keep it bare of throw color on it.

I think Ill paint it eventually not sure what color though. Id like to do some kind of flake job but not sure about colors yet. Yeah its a 50 Merc in the background but the Buick is a 64 with only 45,000 miles rides like a dream.

Made some new bars and pipes last weekend. Not that anyone gives a shit but heres some pics anyway. Also turned some brass pegs on the lathe at work. I still need to get the to pegs done but bolts work for now. Oh and I got rid of that hard ass seat and put on a white tuck and roll from Biltwell. Damn nice seat too bad its all dirty already.

That is a nice looking bike! I am digging the shop too. It is nice sized!

Being a caddy guy I have to comment...I have had a 49 caddy and a early 70s caddy and it was one of my most dependable daily drivers in Bakersfield, SLO, and San Fran. Although driving a 20' boat daily in SF was quite an experience. I am not really into the later 70s caddys though but they are still a smooth ride.

i hate to be that guy(no i dont), but bobcherry are you serious???
yer diggin' that late 70's caddy???? dont get me wrong i love and have owned a few caddies(see my JJ handle), but that aint the coolest car in the backround.
the coolest car ever(in my pea-brain) is that '65 buick rivi. and if ya look a little harder there's the '49 to '51 merc. it's hard to tell w/o the grille.

i know a little car talk is OK here now and than. i promice i wont let it get outta hand(fingers crossed).
Call me a goof ball but I like the '72 Suburban. Don't see many of those around!

Also, the chop looks cool, Le Mars ain't to far from me up here in Sioux Falls
