go check out flyrite choppers they did a little series called the 7 deadly sins and the tanks are similar to that one, hope that helped, have a good day bud

If I recall correctly that was hand-painted by a Texas lady named Crash. There's been more of her work posted here.

Trouble is searching 'Crash' brings up 15 pages of threads, I'm wading thru that now...

Yeah, Cindy painted it. It's an alloy tank off of a B44 Victor.

I ll post pics , but i searched and don't know what kinds or style these are, One pic is from this forum, i forget who posted it. is it like a sharpie with a clear coat? or what type of hand brush paint?

Oh man....that's a tight little panhead! Love all the finned aluminum covers on the pans and the primary. Yea...that works fer me!!!

I believe you've hit it correctly...the parts are fully painted and cleared in the usual fashion, and the clear is then scotchbrighted, you do your artwork using Sharpies...then it's re-cleared, sandwiching your work between clearcoats.
Here's a link (if I kin get this to work) to a guy who does these methods all the time. His stuff frikken rocks!!!

Four of us painted this for our art exhibition, We just used acrylic paint. And also the paint pens, they are great, It has no clear on it but it could be clear coated.
