hahaha
Ive got a shovel in the shop right now that is getting some much needed maintenance and repair work and then a minor facelift but nothing too crazy
customer is on an extremely tight budget so its hard to work with that etc.

But maybe I'll post up some pics later in the week as I get it sorted out

the old girl is down...not totally out but needs a rebuild.

The "new" trans is leaking from the main seal. The engine smokes and the rear head sparkplug thread needs a permanent fix.(read weld and redrill).

That and I plan to cut the frame up, give it some stretch. Plans for another tank and paint scheme.

When work slows and the mula pile is deep enough. I'll get after it with a propper redo thread.

Looking for some STD or S&S Pan heads on the cheap to rebuild or repair. A LEE clutch pedal, and a few more chopper bits. I miss my old coffin tanks. They are getting hard to find now.

And I have another chopper frame given to me by a good friend. I want to build it to.

I'm putting a blower on my LSR sidecar. Still accumulating parts and thinking on how I'm going to do it. As soon as I get the parts organized and I start putting it together I'll post some photos.

In my neck of the woods it's the cold that's slowing me down. Tried working in the garage today it was -5 deg. Can't get much done, I try again tomorrow.

I got one in the works. It's taken my machinist 6 months to make two engine spacers for my frame. So that's holding me up a bit!

dowah! visited vapour blast shop yesterday who did a trial blast of chrome plated primary cover which loks like exposed nickle finish will be acceptable to complement ali' cases, he checked to see if triple tree and bars could be blast cleaned; nope! 'i'll check to see best chrome price i can get for you'.

then visited machinist , who's got an op' on his ankles which will take himout of action for some months, to adjust a guide collar to help cam bushes be reamed, 'you've got a hand reamer there, you need a machine reamer (no taper), tell you what i know the supplier go change it and i'll turn it downto fit'.

Both shops said they'll turn jobs around in a week. lesson learnt; promote your local small works, when their gone their gone the big boys ain't going to interupt prduction runs to help the garagista.

Well,I'm about to start my pan build , with a new frame and rebuilt engine and box. But I suck at computers and attaching photos. I'll try to figure it out soon.

I have a couple of "builds" going on. Unfortunately, they are not Harleys or a Triumph so they are sorta "off topic". There`s one that will be using an Andover V-32 for power so it`s American iron, at least.

i'm building 6 bikes at this moment, but if i had to make a thread of each induvidual bike, there's no time to build anymore.
also 2 XS650, but its not the place to post here i understood, no yaps allowed

we want to go to a show in may, so i'm in a little hurry with my builds,
but i have to agree, very slow here with the builds...

I've been on my '70 Shovel project for a while now, changed direction a couple of times due to issues with major parts, like the frame, and lack of time to spend in the garage. I'll start posting a thread now that I learned how to load pictures correctly.
I really enjoy seeing the other projects, though.

I have a New Year project starting, not sure it's worth a build thread as my habilities/knowledge are very limited compared to most members of this board... well maybe I'm too shy ahah, I'll start a thread about it soon then, and if you don't like it, then just don't bump it on top and we'll let it go down
