Love these kinds of threads! I think they try encourage these to go to garage journal but it's good to see the more chopper focussed ones. I know a lot of the motorcycle guys don't really get too involved in garage journal

Bike is a mock up. '63 Pan engine in an original Motor Shop single loop frame, Paughco tank they called "axed harley" back in the '70's, 6" over Ness low bend springer......

It really is pink. The tank was painted as a demo by someone who was trying to drum up some paint work back in the early '70's. It sat on top of the Coke machine at the shop where i used to work for maybe 25 years 'til I finally brought it home. Sadly the bike never made it to completion. I sold the frame/front end/tank to a fellow JJer a while back, getting ready to put the pan in a different frame. Here's another pic of that mock up, with my messy garage in the background so it won't be too off topic.

I'll play. Never enough room in the garage. Too many projects, giving up hot rods to go back to my first love, motorcycles.

Awesome! I hope they put it to good use, that setup is choice and I kind of love the pink tank.

An older guy I worked with sent me this same pic and said it was his old shop in Michigan. This is the same guy who said he'd known "Dave" Walksler for decades and used to pal around with "ol' Sonny"...among about a hundred other BS stories.

That sounds lame. I'm new here so I'm not sure who the biggest show off is but either way-LAME.

right now i'm doing a rebuild on the garage, moving tools downstairs to 2 big rooms i have there and sinking my lifttable into the garagefloor to make it flush
ikebuilding this winter after a long break, new career as a carmechanic teacher takes alot of time

i made this simple but awesome solution to store scraps and pieces of steel as using a somewhat useless space around the stair down stairs
