Pretty cool to see that some of the more "custom" type vintage iron is making it's way to the CannonBall. Most of the bikes I've seen that are involved in that are much closer to stock. Are these guys actually entering the competition or just riding along the route? I really don't know much about the rules regarding entries other than I understand they upped the cut-off year to 1936 this year?

This and the bike Kosuke just finished are going to be actual entrants. The scuttlebutt I have heard on the Cannonball is that, yes they did raise year-model cutoff to include the 36 Knuck, but they were discouraging all out choppers. I guess we will have to see how well received these bikes are and if they change the rules again.

Yeah it is cool to see this one in the cannonball. Please post up more pics of the progress, if you get them. The stance is incredible, nice work on the frame and forks.

Allow me to wish you guys the best of Luck!
On a long distance event like that, even with the best preparation, you still need plenty of mojo and lots of Good Luck!

The bike showed up Sunday for Pinner to fire it up. Looks like they got a shit ton done.

Pinner and Duggan were riding it all over the neighborhood yesterday, then Duggan took it home for some finishing touches. I think everyone is meeting here at the end of the week and then headed out to the Motorcycle Cannonball. Looks like a good time ahead!

Shame to cover up so much of that frame, damn that I-beam work is nice.

What's the story on the rear fender?
Junk in the trunk?

Extra gas.

Similar trick here on the Dual Carb VL we did last year.

Both Craig and Duggan want a bit more on board to make the longer stretches between stops.

He's going to have a blast!

Is he a member here? Would love to see him document the ride and start a thread here!
