Default Intro from German

hey folks, glad to make it to this place!
This is steve from germany, born in 1970, married, one 2yr daughter.
Im a self employed signmaker and sparetime-pinstriper.
Living between Hamburg and Bremen.
Looking around this site for maybe 1,5 years and find its one of the best sources for beeing influenced.....kind of.....so many talented workers around here. Lets say....... some real heroes!
Riding Bikes since ever. Startet with a SR 500 and brought in 93 a 1976 FLH home from vacation in Oregon.
Did a lot of changes over the years, but now its time for some real stuff. Started to build an oiltank and an gastank mainly out of a mexican beetle trunkcover. It has allready the right curves i was after. See the pix. But still needs some special treatment to be mounted.
Any Ideas to mount mid controls/footpegs on a flh primery cover?......or anyone who has a fx superglide footpegs with shifting linkage........
Has to be at least stock looking, because we have the TUV around here. Its a inspection where most of the handbuild stuff (that you build) won`t pass.
Any good ideas to get stock looking mid contolls on my FLH?
Ill post more of my stuff soon.
