Maybe not...lol. Im an older guy, a couple of young guys started talking to me and like this tail light (for personal reasons) and Im just doing some research. I run a glass beehive tail light, not DOT approved. LOL!

Check these snazzy J-R pegs i founs a while back. don't know anything about the company other then they made some snazzy shit. anyone ever seen these pegs before?

Drag Specialties had the whole J-R pegs colection in their catalog.. yours is the "Continental"..

Like now there were lots of dumb fuckers back in the 70s. IIRC they liked cow hair cowboy boots and lime green jackets. You had to be there. (:-)

Are the backing plates on the originals made of plastic or were they metal? Just looked at the ebay item, noticed the housing is chromed plastic. Makes me wonder if some enterprising individual had some made overseas or had the foresight to keep a couple dozen boxed for the last 30 years....

Backing plates were metal for sure.. I had a few of these laying around..sold them at different swap meets..
