Default Evo Sportster valve noise

I picked up an 883 2001 Sportster a few months ago because it was bargain priced...Needed a few minor repairs but it runs well for what it is..The bike appears mosty original, shows 16,000 miles.

But..The valve gear is noisy compared to other Evo Sportsters..Like it has solid lifters..I can't really pinpoint the noise ,its seems evenly distributed between the cam cover and heads. The engine doesn't appear to have been disassembled in the past, but who nows..

Running 20/50 oil and the engine doesn't use oil..
I'll be taking the bike part this winter but just wondering what it might be...

Itís apparently common enough that a product is made to reduce the noise...

Fortunately mine doesnít have the ticking problems.
