Default Converting back to points

I'm removing a Crane Cams electronic ignition system and going back to points and have a question. On the stock type coils, does the top primary circuit terminal go to the ignition switch and the bottom terminal go to the points or the other way around? And does the top high tension terminal go to the front cylinder? I guess it does not matter which plug is connected to which high tension terminal as they both fire at the same time.

crane ignition uses a 3 ohm coil and points uses a 5 ohm coil - the points will last about an hour

And the coil might blow up from too much dwell.

I did that to one of the original crane single-fire coils. Good lesson.
