My Indian build has been on the back boiler for waaaaay too long, spent most of last year moving house and shifting stored bike bits aboutthe country. Over the last month or so Ive built the bike back up, and re-built the 3 speed trans, loose ftted the primary and got the Triumph front end on. The motor is a Sport Scout stroked to 57" with Chief flywheels and pop up Bonneville pistons.

One round base and one square base cyl? We'll have to dig you up a Scout girder front end. I just dragged my chief outside yesterday after rebuilding the top end and it won't start. The UK is full of Indian guys so you'll have some support. I just dragged my chief outside, won't start. Gotta make sure my distributor isn't 180 degrees off...

Well he used to be/still is the lead singer of The Rezillos, I don't know his real name, but he's a leading authority on Indians, he lives in Scotland somewhere.

Looking good, My scout projects are on hold until I return from the BUB event this August, although I secretly lust for the 64 ci dual carb scout or the OHV EXP scout, I must remain focused. My streamliner is #1 priority for now until I leave August 27 for Wendover. The tanks are sharp. Are they from Germany?

BlackBob,
I know the feeling of having to sell something in order to go ahead, if I sold Kelly's big base, then I could definitely do it but then the inspiration is gone. I suspect my grandmother was right, hanging a dream catcher in the window. Rocky 1957S/VG |

BlackBob,
Today Alex, Ed and myself worked on sealing the front bulkhead as per the AMA rules in effect for BUB and various duties to get the bus ready for a 6000 mile trip. Here is Alex measuring alumnum for mounting clutch reservior. ![]() Last edited by Dragon; 04-05-2008 at 09:21 PM. Reason: fix pic |

Rocky, looks like the ball is rolling again. That's great. I got the FXDWG project I got from Dr. NO running and rolling last night. Ran out of steam to work on Ural or Chief today. Maybe tomorrow afternoon. I hear your firesuit has been ordered.
