Hey guys, name's Matt. That's my daughter on my gramps flatty.

First, Thanks to everyone who's been helpin me without knowing it.

Been gatherin parts slowly over the last few years. 2 kids, 2 career changes, and 3 provinces later I'm ready to take a run at putting it together. 1st build but not first bike. Planning on kick only hand shift, but got no skills, and used parts are few out here, so we'll see. Heres what I got so far. Catch ya later -Matt

Don't let lack of skills stop you. It didn't stop me. Doing it means learning it.

I heard from a few guys that came down for Laconia Bike Week that you can't register a rigid frame up there. Has that changed? or is it only certain provinces?

The only rigid I can run in Quebec is an original rigid.
No new construction.
But I know Ontario is different.

welcome form another BC boy...not sure about registering a hardtail in BC, but i am modifying a stock from so my registration won't have to change and inspection won't be an issue unless i get flagged for no turn signals etc...
good luck with the build

Theres lotsa aftermarket rigids around, so I guess so. Otherwise I'm gonna go down to the shop that sold me the frame and kick some ass! (By that, I mean start something and get my ass kicked.)
