Can I get some feedback on the Avon SM Mk 11 rear tire? It looks very cool on the front and rear of bobbers and was wondering if it is a good tire for riding. My plan is to go 16" wide tires front and rear of my hardtail, but I expect to put alot of miles on them. I know there are better tires, but can't seem to get the Avons out of my head. Steve Broyles of Stevensons in Wayne Mi. has them on most of his bikes but says that they are not so great for the road. I still would rather look cool than be safe so what have you experenced with them.

i have used them on a few bikes front & rear and on my personal bike on the rear never had any problems or major complaints..www.nocoastchopper.org. happy holidays..
