Haven't been active for a while. Kind of lost interest for a while but Im back. Looking forward to this season. This is where Im currently at. Making improvements every day.

Hey thanks man. I lost my garage for a while. Bike sat in a shed. Kind of deteriorated. Getting back in shape.

That's the kinda Shovelhead I like, one you can use, with decent (PM) brakes and an easy to ride design, with decent front suspension. Guessing the taillight is offset on the left? I hope it's bigger than a Milk-Dud, so you have a chance of being seen at night.

Oh Im looking for a super clean set of pipes ( like new) if anyone has a set. These are beat up.

I like the fact it can stop and well

most of the stuff we have been involved with in jersey has one drum brake only

you spent the time thinking / looking about what you wanted it to look like - nice job

All look great, but I miss the last tank a bit.

What about re-chroming the pipes, they look great otherwise.

Last tank was rattle can paint...I guess it had character. I still have it. This one is a real paint job. Got it with a matching fender and tail light at the Asbury swap for for $200....a no brainer. Im not into blue but its really well done.




E start...best move ever. Im done with the tough guy stuff plus the kicker tore my calf muscle in half on a misfire.

Ive never seen these pipes before. I got them 2nd hand ( like everything else) and the previous owner put a big nasty scrape with the kicker. So re chrome is out.

I just picked up a 19" invader wheel Im gonna throw a tire on and see how it looks. Always dug the Invaders. Im tire shopping now. Man they run from $50 to $200

If you don't mind my asking, what is the first bit to make pavement contact if you go into a corner a little too hot, or the corner radius diminishes partway through?

Just curious, no subtext.

Ive never contacted pavement but I'm no road racer either. Front end is a bit long so its sits a touch nose high

Nice bike. Glad to see your resurrecting it back. Invaders are cool but the giant disc on the front kind of kills it for me . Spokes kind of hide that better. Then again , opinions are like ....we all know how that goes..

Any wheel with a disk would look better without one. I hear ya though. Nothing cooler than a spool. I ran a spool for a season but with the traffic here and a foot clutch it didnt pan out. I'm gonna get it rolling and see how it looks. Not selling my 21 so I'll have options
