take the whole taper drive part out, and see if the mounting plate will fit all the way down in place.

...the shaft is like solder in the bearing; I ll see what can I do.
Then I hope that I can return it to the bearing without slipping or like that I have the bike in my house (cause I thought that all be smooth but even the chain is hitting the swing arm--painted) so the tools are at 30kms from here. Thanks |

...so I managed to get off the shaft without tools. As mentioned the adapter does not touch inside the cover so is a shaft problem.
Tony, the plate with the brackets up fits perfectly well, but if you put with the brackets pointing down hit in the area that you mention. -The shaft measure 4.43cm so almost 1 3/4 inch If I cut it the problem that I see is that still the taper does not go all the way inside the cam...could be those slip problems that somebody mention. |

...I think the only solution is to cut the length of the shaft.
Do you have any opinions? -I lapped the shaft. The shaft taper works in the middle of the cam. Here some photos; if you look close you can see the details in the cam. Thanks |
