Similar thing happened to my friend who now has 3 plates in his jaw Half inch split down between his front teeth where it looked as if there was no teeth just a gaping hole where you could see bone. from a guy beating the shit out of him. Its on the eye in the sky all on video, the loser picked him up by his hair and hit him 30 more times in the face after he was out and on the ground. 18 rights 12 lefts. Hopefully the states attorney will lock his ass up for a long time

I'm with you. I wish I could get back the time I spent locked up for giving some wise ass RUB a beatdown who desperately needed one. It's just not worth it. Make sure you expend every opportunity to get out of a confrontation. Walking away does not make you a pussy. This might be getting a bit off-topic, but I ended up watching one of those "trauma surgery"-type shows on Discovery Health channel last night. I usually hate blood and open wounds, but somehow got sucked in.

One patient was a 17-year-old kid who got four knife wounds to the gut because some jerks wanted to steal his beer.

Knife wounds ... "not so bad" you might say to yourself.

Think again.

The doctors had to open up the kid's gut with a 12" incision, pulling his intestines every which way 'till Sunday to make sure nothing got punctured. JEEZUZHKHRIST, what a feckin' mess! Wasn't even the kid's fault.

I think about all the times I've gotten into heated words with some jagoff, and at the time, I never considered that my intensines might have to be layed out on a table while doctors played with them as though I was the Play-Doh Fun Factory.

Something to think about.
