Default 1959 pre unit build .

I have been working on this for a few years from time to time . mostly working with parts I had and a few basic fabs and mods to make @ duplex look like a rigid pre unit . getting ready to finish and reassemble so I collected some photos of the work so far. Here's what I started with..

I'm a bit of a hack monster . I can weld OK. Not pretty so I molded all the welds . I slugged the tubes where it was cut . I'm pulling images from google so they might not be the best pics.

Thanks Rob . yes I'm about to tear into the motor. Its 20 over now so a clean up or rebore and new pistons to come. See what's lurking in the bottom end. Its gonna have a unit primary and clutch it had tthaf setup already and I have newer parts for it. I heard they don't fit under the primary cover with a stator but it fits under this one OK. Trans is already rebuilt .

I like it and will be watching, hopefully I can pick up some tips. Im collecting parts for a 57 in a custom duplex frame. Everytime I have a look or attempt to work on the triumph its so fugly I cant seem to get much done. Maybe if I throw a blanket over the beautiful BSA sitting next to it I wont be so bias

Loffer, I really dig the elegant simplicity of the fender strut / grabrail. So many bikes nowadays have these ugly curved struts or overly elaborate setups. Very well done.
