I haven't bothered to run since Maxton. Too many people for a small venue.

I read that Wilmington is a 1076 ft. Does the DA vary that much there? I'm just curious. Bonneville can vary greatly but I didn't think there would be a great variance at that altitude.

Thank you RidingHood,,

The da at Bonneville can start at 3000feet and end up over 8000' in the afternoon. El Mirage can go up to 6000' My bikes can go faster at higher da.

It's normally hot and humid in the summer. Might be 65 F in the morning with 70 percent humidity. Later afternoon might be 90-90 with 120 F track temperature..What's more of a problem is the wind...usually a headwind.
My bike ran it's fastest times at Ohio in hot humid July..slight headwind.
Maine is a bit cooler and it's a longer 1-1/2 mile track and I went faster there with the same jetting used at Ohio. What is interesting, some at Ohio and Maine also run at Bonneville and or El Mirage go slower on the east coast tracks. I can see going faster at Bonneville with the longer run, but not El Mirage. But that's what they say...

At the Lorning Maine 1-1/2 mile this weekend, Tom Goni riding "Push Rod" Tom's 650 BSA broke my 650 MPG record with a 131.9 run...

131.9 on a "M" class naked 650 is very fast, what a great achievement! Congratulations Tom Goni & Pushrod Tom.
