I call bulshit on these "always one or two kicks" claims.
Seasonal, daily even, changes in ambient temperature, barometric pressure, fuel quality, engine temperature, state of wear, how you hold your tongue, and all the other variables require constant fiddling and an understanding of your machine.
The bike will give you feedback, but not until you start kicking.
If you listen, she will tell you what she needs to purr.
