Humble beginnings and some old PICS for your enjoyment
thought i'd throw these up on the board. the two color shots are of my old man and my mom back in the 70's or late 60's on his Honda 350. neat old pic from my dad's younger years pre- hotrods and triumphs. they had never been developed till a few days ago.
The old black 'n whites are from a friend of mine's collection of original pics he acquired from an old mans estate. enjoy
Don't know if it's vintage or not. 1976, but that was just yesterday wasn't it. 2 days and 600 miles into a week long/2000 mile cruise through the NM/Colorado mountains.

I can't see the frame intersecting at the back hub, if that's so it's the leaf spring rear suspension which I think was introduced in 1915. Mike Parti would know. It has footboards and pedal start too. Off the top of my head.
I was at my buddy's house yesterday, working on my Trump. He was rummaging around boxes to find an oil seal and found this old picture of his '59 Panhead chopper. He bought that motor and a Knucklehead motor for $100 in '72 and built this bike. His buddy build the Knuck in a similar build. He sold it for a few hundred dollars in the early 80's. I asked him if he was going to hang the pix in his garage somewhere, but he put in in a tool box drawer and said it made him sick to look at it, knowing he practically gave it away.
Aha I googled the gnome rhone but it was to no avail. I tried the Art deco bike and found the info.
