Talking I'm new here...so what?

David from Austin Tx. I have a few bikes (2003 Harley Heritage Softail, 1971 Triumph Daytona Chopper, 1981 CB750). I'm currently focusing on the 71 Triumph. Doing rewiring, wishing to change it from positive earth to negative earth...looking for info. This bike is very interesting. It has hodgepodge of parts that are not OEM, has a Harley springer front end from the 70s, weird welded forward control, mismatched brake shoes on front a back (unknown model or year of front wheel), rear brake cable instead of rod. It looks like this may be the place to straighten this bike out.

Welcome David ! I like the stance of the bike, also the springer looks spot on !

Did that bike come from out in the hill country? Burnet, Marble falls, Kingsland area. I seem to remember one like that when I worked what was then the only bike shop in that area.
