Southernfried, I have that same springer, but with twisted front legs, and longer. The rockers are the same, top tree is the same, springs, and the spring shafts are the same... Never been able to figure out what it was, but I doubt it is a homebrew. If I can get some pics I will post em.

So quick question. If the rear legs are round on the outside and flat on the inside it's a D&D/Paughco???

Ok here is one for everybody - no markes, numbers or any sort of ID on it that I can find.
The mounting of the rockers is different than anything else I have been able to find... I was told that this came off an old Honda Chopper... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Need some help!! ID
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No idea, No markings, looks well built (I think). 1-1/8" stem square front legs. Narrow as all get out. Also, can anybody fill me in on how the top clamp would have looked? Thanks |

Looks similar to a Fury, but with modified rockers, and square front legs.
See Hardtime's pics earlier in this thread for how the top clamp looks. |

Carbineken...that's a Butts Mfg springer. A quick search will bring up a couple more threads with Butts springers.

yeah I agree the rockers look fury, but the end of the legs are different as well as the front legs being square. I think the legs are solid? what does a 1-1/8 stem come from?

I remember El Shanebo posting one like this a while back but I don't think it was ever ID'd. So here's another shot. It has a 1" stem, a 17mm axle that looks like it's from a Kawasaki KZ, and rockers that look like Harley with different front sections welded on. I was told it was off an VW trike and came with what looked like a KZ wheel.
