Hi all, although I signed up on Jockey journal a few years ago, progress on the project has been painfully slow! Now at last it's starting to take shape so I thought I'd post a photo. It started as a bare frame and I built the rest basically one piece at a time. The engine is a '55 Triumph T110 based on a pair of flea-bay crank cases. BSA gearbox, XS 650 wheels and forks etc etc. Well I like it!

I know the feeling with projects not moving fast enough. When do you aim to have it on the road?
And, sorry, as I frequently find myself making this request (and it’s sometimes impossible if space in the workshop / wheels which might fall off etc. prevent it), but a profile shot of the bike would be great please. Personally I need to see the whole bike in the picture, dead on side shot bars straight ahead, ideally both sides, before I can decide if I like the profile and make approving grunting noises and/or or offer constructive criticism. Wheel it out into the daylight and lean it against the wall - if it’s been stuck on your lift this long it’ll make you (and, more importantly, me) feel better to see it down on the ground anyway. |
